Hexagonal Beewaxes are obtained from beehives. As per study, these types of waxes are produced when a bee consumes maximum 10 pounds of honey. Wax is procured after melting the honeycomb (post removal of honey). Hexagonal Beewaxes are used for developing candles, cosmetic products, lithographic inks, waxed paper etc. Provided waxes have above 140 degree F melting point and around 0.95specific gravity. These easily dilute in chloroform, carbon tetrachloride and warm ether. Offered waxes are tasteless and have distinctive honey like smell.
